Milla Jovovich, Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter talk Resident Evil: Afterlife


'WE all go into this loving it. It's like this gruelling rollercoaster ride' - that's how franchise star Milla Jovovich describes the latest of the Resident Evil video game adaptations.

She was speaking at this year's San Diego Comic-Con and Sony has today sent us video footage from the panel for Resident Evil: Afterlife, the upcoming fourth instalment in the series. You can watch the clip below.

Entertainment Tonight Visits the Set of 'Resident Evil: Afterlife'


Last year Entertainment Tonight visited the Toronto locations of Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Afterlife, while just this week they premiered their on set footage that features interviews with Milla Jovovich as Alice, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield and Shawn Roberts as super-villain Albert Wesker. It's also briefly mentioned that Afterlife is the first movie to use James Camerson's 3D technology since Avatar. You can watch the video footage below. Milla Jovovich Talks Resident Evil: Afterlife.


Milla Jovovich starred in the first Resident Evil movie back in 2002, making Resident Evil: Afterlife's September 10 debut almost ten years of Jovovich playing the franchise's super-powered zombie slayer, Alice. With her husband Paul W.S. Anderson returning to direct — after only writing the previous two sequels — Jovovich admitted to ShockTillYouDrop that living with the writer and director of your movie can have its advantages.

Jovovich: 'Filming in 3D was hard'


Milla Jovovich has said that she found filming the latest Resident Evil movie in 3D to be very difficult.


The actress revealed that she struggled to conform to the demands of the new technology.

"I do tend to gesticulate a lot when I talk but you just can't do that when you're shooting in 3-D because every movement is magnified," Jovovich told Contact Music.

"It took a lot of effort for me to keep still. Also, the cameras are so heavy and take so long to set up, there was a lot of waiting around. So it was all very hard for me."

Milla Jovovich Interview On The Set Of The Latest Resident Evil: After Life.



Milla Jovovich has been in the acting game for just over twenty years, with a resume that includes such notable films as THE RETURN TO THE BLUE LAGOON, DAZED AND CONFUSED, HE GOT GAME and THE FIFTH ELEMENT. But it's her role as the confidant yet tortured Alice in the RESIDENT EVIL series that has catapulted her to worldwide notoriety - and transformed her from a waifish model to a butt-kicking geek goddess.
